This little walk up is just what you need....a cold refreshing beverage on a hot sunny day. The prices are honestly not bad considering this is Miami, and the smoothies are delicious! I had the Colada Bliss. Sooo good!! This cafe has lots of dairy free options, so enjoy!
There is no problem with the quality of food at the South Pointe Cafe, and is a good place to get snacks when you are at the park. The service is also good, and the employees are friendly. These reasons above are the only reasons why I am giving the South Pointe Cafe 4 stars. When I arrived, the card machine was broken, which was, considered, not the fault of the employees, but rather of the Cafe. Once the card machine began working again, my friend ordered the Strawberry Bliss in size large, and a Hot Dog. The employees then said that the Hot Dog machine was not working, which was somewhat disappointing. We waited for the order, and when it was my friends turn, he received a mango smoothie, in size small (not the correct order). This confusion was also not a confusion in orders, as we were the only ones there. Overall, good service, not so good management and facilities.
This is at the end opposite of the pier of South Pointe Park. It offers ice cream, popsicles, drinks, and some food items at moderate prices. I ordered the beef empanadas from here and I paid $5 for two of them. They were larger and tasty. You can get a lot of stuff here to cool you off from the heat
I came here after being caught in the rain, leaving the beach, and I ordered their strawberry slushie. It was really great. But what really made me happy, was the service. The young lady at the register was very kind, and courteous. She was a delight. The only thing, was that the paper straw absolutely could not endure being used in the slushie. It dissolved within 10 minutes or so of drinking the slushie. So I recommend you to grab a few of their paper straws. We are 100% pro paper straws at @LifeMiamiBeach!! Cool spot! Easy in and out. Sometimes a line. Organic gelato pops and ice cream for the kids. Front desk worker offered to give a bowl of water for the pups. 2 bottled waters and a coke for $6.50 and they take cards too.
